Oprah Winfrey reveals her worst ever talk show guests
Oprah Winfrey is looking back at her time as a talk show host, revealing the most "annoying" types of guests she had on the show.
During an appearance on Harry Connick Jr.'s talk show, "Harry," this week, Winfrey revealed that there were two common traits that she found infuriating when conducting interviews on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
"You know, the worst kind of guest -- you've had this, too -- when you ask them a question and they start talking about 1975," she said with a laugh. "And you think, 'Oh, we're in 2017, how long is it going to take us before we get to 2017?' That's the worst!"
She continued to explain that another common occurrence were guests that thought that what they were explaining was incredibly interesting when, in fact, it wasn't.
"The other worst guests for me are those who think that whatever it is they're talking about is so spectacular and you know it's not," she explained. "So, my go-to word was always, 'Wow!'"
She went on to recall a lawyer that mentioned the book he was promoting no less than 29 times during the course of one interview, another thing she found annoying.
Unfortunately, Winfrey didn't mention any guests by name -- she's a pro, of course she didn't!
